What BidMyCommunity is

A marketplace connecting community association managers with contractors. Free for managers. Free to join for contractors.

BidMyCommunity is a marketplace that connects community association managers (HOAs, condos, multifamily, co-ops) with contractors who do the work those communities need.

The problem we solve

Managing community projects used to mean phone-tagging six contractors, hoping three bids come back, comparing them on a napkin, and praying you picked the right one. Contractors had to spend hours chasing leads from sources that often didn't know what they were selling.

BidMyCommunity makes one place where:

  • Managers post a project once and get bids from qualified, local contractors
  • Contractors see every project in their area that matches what they do
  • Everyone communicates in one place, with a clean paper trail

What we are

A marketplace. We connect the two sides, route the work, and provide tools (messaging, bid comparison, site visit scheduling, document storage). Then we get out of the way.

What we're not

  • Not a payment processor. We don't hold or touch project payments. Managers pay contractors directly.
  • Not a contractor. We don't do the work or supervise the work.
  • Not an arbitrator. Disputes between managers and contractors are between them.
  • Not a referral service. Managers see every bid, not a curated shortlist.

How we make money

Contractors pay 2.5% of the awarded bid amount when they win a project. That's it. Managers never pay us anything.

Who's behind it

BidMyCommunity is built and run by a small team that has worked on both sides of the bid process — managing community projects and bidding on them. We built the platform we wished existed.
