Is it really free to join?#

Yes. Free to create an account, free to set up your profile, free to get notifications, free to bid. You pay 2.5% only when you win a project — see When the 2.5% platform fee applies.

What if I bid and don't win?#

Nothing happens. No charge, no penalty, no ding to your account. You can bid as many times as you want, on as many projects as you want, for free.

How many projects will I see?#

It depends on your trades and service area. In a major metro doing common trades (painting, landscaping, roofing), most contractors see 5–15 project notifications per month. Specialty trades or rural areas see less. The platform is growing — most contractors see lead flow improve in the first 90 days.

Why was I not notified about a project I would've wanted?#

Three possible reasons:

1. Your trade categories don't match the project's tags
2. The project is outside your service area
3. Your profile is incomplete and the platform is throttling notifications until you finish

Check Settings → Notifications to widen filters or expand service area.

Can I bid on projects outside my normal service area?#

Yes. Open RFP Search and search any city or ZIP code. The platform only auto-notifies you about your set area, but you can bid on anything visible on RFP Search.

What if a manager goes silent after my bid?#

Send one polite follow-up message after 4–5 business days. If still no response after another 5 days, move on. The project status will eventually update to "awarded" or "closed" — you'll see what happened.

Can I bid as multiple companies?#

Each company gets its own account. If you run multiple legal entities (different LLCs, different states), set up a separate account for each. Don't run two accounts for the same legal entity.

What if I'm not licensed in the state where the project is?#

Don't bid. Managers filter by license state and you'll be filtered out. If you're working toward a license in a new state, finish the licensing first.

My competitor is on the platform with better photos. Help.#

Photos are the easiest thing to fix. Take 30 minutes to walk past 10 recent projects with a phone camera. Even raw cell phone before/afters beat zero photos every time.

Can I leave reviews for managers?#

Not currently. Reviews are something we're considering for v2. For now, your bid history and award rate are visible to other managers.

How do I delete my account?#

Email support. We'll remove your company profile and personal data within 30 days. Any unpaid platform fees are still owed.
