How to find open projects
Three ways to find projects: notifications, RFP search, and direct invitations.
There are three ways to find projects on BidMyCommunity. Most contractors use all three.
1. Automatic notifications
When a manager posts a project matching your trades and service area, you get notified instantly — email and dashboard. This is the main flow for most contractors. The more accurate your profile, the better the matches.
2. RFP Search (browse open projects)
Click Project Search in the main nav to browse every open project on the platform.
This is useful for:
- Specialty work you do that may not be tagged perfectly
- Projects in adjacent service areas you'd consider
- Getting a sense of what's out there in your market
3. Direct invitations
If a manager invites your company specifically, you'll get an invitation email and inbox notification.
Invitations convert. Invited bids win at a much higher rate than unsolicited ones.
